IMS (Insulation Machining Services, a division of SIG Performance Technology Group) have opened a new, purpose-built distribution ‘Super Site’, located in the heart of Leeds.
The investment into the new IMS Leeds distribution centre represents the launch of a new era for the Group having experienced continued growth over recent years. The launch exemplifies a truly customer-centric and strategic proposition to ensure the highest levels of service excellence.
The new 20,000 sq ft building is located adjacent to the M621, with excellent links to all road networks. The building has been designed and constructed with the customer at its core due to the efficiencies it now provides. IMS Leeds offers customers access to the full depth of the IMS product portfolio consolidated under one roof.
The centralisation of stock into the new Leeds distribution centre provides ultimate convenience for the customer; improving service, reducing the need to consolidate shipments across multiple sites and improving internal processes and control measures to ensure optimal performance.
